45,000 words!

Almost to 50K! Whoot!

I'm still plugging away at the NaNo novel.

I should hit 40,000 words tonight.

I'll easily make it to 50,000 (goal) this weekend.

Whoo! Go me!

However, I think this story is going to end up being 60 or 70K before I finish. Because it's nowhere near done yet. =P

I didn't hit my word count goal any day last week. And Friday I didn't write a single word. My current word count on my NaNowriMo project is 36,500 words.

Which is behind where I want to be right now, but well ahead of where I have to be in order to finish 50K words by the end of the month.

So, all in all, I am not displeased.

Wow, I did NOT want to write when I got home last night. I spent all day yesterday struggling with some uber technical stuff at work. The kind of stuff that leaves me feeling pretty fried by the end of the day. And I'd done a LOT of writing over the weekend. So the last thing I wanted to do when I got home was more writing. I'm at 20,000 words, that's 40% of goal. And we're only on day nine!

I might hit 17,000 words before I got to bed. But only if I can pry myself off the Intarwebs. =P

Back to work!

Total NaNoWriMo word count, as of right now, is about 13,000 words. I’m 25% towards my goal, and I feel like I’ve just barely started on this story. Whoot! Go me!
